SBOR with Solomon Ater

The Nigerian Constitution which is the fons et origo of the Laws in Nigeria provided only for the generality of human rights of Nigerian citizens.

Consequently, some vulnerable groups that should be given protective attention have not been considered because of lack of particular legislations to address these people issues. The Nigerian Students are part of these vulnerable groups that needs particular legislations to protect them from the forces surrounding them.

It is against the above realities that HELP for students Foundation, Nigeria's Student Bill of Rights comes in to salvage the situation and address the prevailing deficiencies in the Educational system in Nigeria. The Bill is not only timely and apt but it is necessary if the desired change needed in the sector of education is to be achieved.

The Bill in its entirety provided for the Rights of Students in Nigeria, a lacuna for which no legislation or enactment have addressed. The 12 articles provided therein are recipes to preparing a sumptuous and delicious meal that will quench the hunger that has been ravaging the sector.

Are you a Student in Nigeria, an Administrator, Government official, a Civil Society Organization, an NGO or a religious body that will want to see the light of progress, qualitative and ethical educational system that is in tandem with world standard?
Stand up and join HELP Foundation as she proposes this timely legislative action to the National Assembly for consideration as a law to recognize, define and safeguard the Rights of Nigerian Students.
