Founded by Prince Ezeabata Chibuzor in 2019 in University of Abuja is an initiative that brings writers, upcoming writers, poets and young Nigerians who are keen and eager to grow their creative skills and develop their interests in Creative writing. It aims at building a generation of young people who shall be relevant, and innovative for the future. ACW is a world were excellence and success is celebrated.

ACW-UA PRESS : 2plies conferred with the International Book of Peace Awards

 


Association of creative writers facilitate  with Zakari O. Emmanuel popularly known as 2-plies Zakari, who was recently presented a Certificate of Achievement by the BOOKS OF PEACE SPECIAL AWARD 2020 for his Anthology "AUTOPSY".

The "BOOKS of PEACE SPECIAL AWARD Certificate 2020" was conferred on him on his outstanding poetry abilities and his contribution to world peace through poetry.



Zakari Emmanuel Maikalma aka 2plies Zakari as he's fondly called on stage, is a graduate of the University of Abuja, Department of Sociology. He is an indefatigable spoken word artiste and poet with a charismatic stage performance and a lover of the pen. He believes poetry choose him he didn't choose poetry, partly because he stumbled upon it in his second year in school. He is writer with a book to his credit titled THE AUTOPSY (A Poetic Compendium) which was published last year, 5th November 2019. An advocate for the girl child, he uses his arts to create awareness on societal ills such as Rape, Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), Vesicle Vagina fistula (VVF), feminism etc. His currently the first vice president Abuja Municipal LEO club. Aside poetry, his love and passion is humanity, volunteering for organizations with his craft. For a better society, he Subscribes to love, freedom and equity. Some of his renowned pieces include; Hurricane Matthew, Ex-girlfriend, Critically Thinking, Fatima my Arewa princess etc
