Yusuf Jamiu Tobi has emerged President-elected of the Student Union Government.
Popularly known as Jamo, the former S.U.G. Director of Health clinched 2,119 votes, while Abdulkareem Abba Muhammad (aka White Lion) clinched 619 votes and the only female aspirant, Opeyemi Mary Oluwakorede (aka Korede Royalty) got 430 votes.
Aba Goodness, a Law student, is the elected Vice-president of the Union. She won by landslide, with 1,931 votes against her contender, Sanni Amirah Adebukola, who clinched 267 votes.
Anafe John Williams (aka Law of Honor) emerged as the General Secretary of the S.U.G. with 1,241 votes while his contender Gwaza Nuhu Lawrence (aka Nuhu) clinched 429 votes.
The Provost election was tightly contested; Onwukaeme Chinemerem Michael (aka Hon. Bishop) won with 708 votes while his contender Abdulganiyu Mutiu Faiz (aka Aluta Experience) clinched 691 votes.
Three aspirants jostled for the Director of Welfare, but Atiku Abubakar Bakoji (aka Atiku Abubakar) won with 747 votes, while his contenders –Olaoye Oladimeji Joseph (aka Joe) and Omojola Olutayo Israel (aka Spirit in Motion) – clinched 675 and 311 votes respectively.
For the Director of Sport, Yusuf Opeyemi Abdulbasit (aka Opeyemi) secured 786 votes while Ajayi Christopher Oluwole (ChristyJay) clinched 614 votes.
For the Director of Transportation Election, Shehu Umar Aliyu (aka U.S.A.) succeeded with 889 votes while his contender, Olorun Samuel Akamsoko (aka Trigs!) secured 244 votes.
Ukpai Bethel Okechukwu (aka MC Toothpick) emerged as the Director of Social-elect with 904 votes while John Onoja Abutu (aka Onoja) secured 281 votes.
The Director of Entrepreneurship Election was won by Eyamu Nyerovwo Peculiar (aka Everything Peculiar) with 674 votes. Thr first runner up Aloha Kingsley Chiemere secured 671 votes while the second runner up Akintade Olufunmilayo Precious (aka Precious) secured 127 votes.
A female aspirant for the Director of Information –Nwaorgu Chinenye Precious (aka Nenye)- won with 673 votes, while her contender Nasiru Abdulhadi (Oil money) secured 660 votes.
The Director of Academics-elect is Wayo Sefa Daniel, who won with 505 votes while his contender Muhammed Abdulmajeed secured 486 votes.
Other unopposed offices are; Director of Finance (Oyebamiji Ibrahim Adeola -481 votes), and Director of Health (Badewa Hasif Olanrewaju - 485 votes).
