Founded by Prince Ezeabata Chibuzor in 2019 in University of Abuja is an initiative that brings writers, upcoming writers, poets and young Nigerians who are keen and eager to grow their creative skills and develop their interests in Creative writing. It aims at building a generation of young people who shall be relevant, and innovative for the future. ACW is a world were excellence and success is celebrated.

 Association of Creative Writers commemorates it's one year virtual  anniversary on Friday, the 18th of September, 2020 with the theme, Resurgence 2020 : Reviving the innovative role of the pen



The anniversary was graced with the presence of the Vice Chancellor of University of Abuja, Professor Abdulrasheed Na'Allah  as the Key note speaker and Professor Gbolahan Elias, the Principal Partner of G.Elias & Co Law firm as a guest speaker, he spoke on The role of the Pen in the Legal Profession, Alhaji Denja Abdullahi, the Director, National Council for Arts and Culture, spoke on the The role of the Pen in the current Socio-Political situation, Dr Safiya Ismaila Yero, the Executive Director MACAEF, and Head University of Abuja Alumni Society, and Dr Ofonime Inyang, immediate past General Secretary, Association of Nigerian Authors, he spoke on The role of the Pen in the current Socio-Economic situation.



The magazine also featured presentation of Awards and Certificates and the launching of our magazine.
