It is with great euphoria that I join millions of friends and well wishers to say a very big congratulations to all newly admitted students for 2022 academic session.
The journey has never been promising due to the tussle of passing through JAMB and subsequent exams and calculations that has catapulted you to this great citadel of learning.
Pedagogical Students, permit me to say without mincing words that your warps and woof has just begun and it behooves on you to work tremendously on whether to graduate using your stipulated 4yrs timeframe or to stay back for another extra year.
Ever conscious Unibujite Students, it gladdens my heart to inform you eloquently that you now have the ball in your court. Kindly draft your choicest skills and best strategy now that you're in your simplest level.
Most dogged Nigerian students, it is no mistake that university education is becoming more demanding and more expensive, particularly in this part of the world where the government is already considering loans for students and the quest for government to abandon education to few hands which may translate to absolute deprivation of the masses from accessing quality education hence your admission calls for celebration.
Indomitable Nigeria. students, I crave your indulgence at this juncture to be steadfast in your learning strategy. Don't be swayed by the cacophony of friends and social life distractions. Choose your friends wisely like you are choosing life partner. Make sure you adhere strictly to the oath of matriculation and be law abiding students.
Ever dynamic students, it is no mistake that our institutions of learning most importantly tertiary education is fashioned to raise conformers but try and be different. Don't allow the voice of naysayers drag your idiosyncrasy away. Try and be the genus specie you are.
Finally, Ever progressive Unibujite students, this day calls for special celebration and hope you will utilize it to the maximum by devoting more time and skills to your learning and add some feathers to your academic sojourn.
