ACW-UA POETRY : Solomon Adetosoye's peom /Love is Yah/ tops chart in ACW-UA POETRY Weekies.

❤‍🔥Love is YAH❤‍🔥

Beyond the kisses and hugs,
Beyond the smiles,
Beyond the footprints etched along the aisle.

This Love blooms from dying moments,
Like silt flickering amidst all torrent;
A bittersweet tinge of ecstasy,
Kamikaze, leaving razed hearts
-still beating.

Alas! What more could be as heavenly...
-as Light beaming o'er fireflies
silked up in life's nocturnal web?
Gripping a lost limb rolling off the aisle? And...
Soothing A razed heart scraping it's ash?
Love is YAH!
King Solomon

LANGUAGE AND STYLE
The poet richly employed the use of metaphors, imagery, oxymoron, rhetorical questions, symbolism and repetition.

SYNOPSIS & STRUCTURE
The poem is comprised of Three stanzas with different number of lines namely, stanza one(4 lines), stanza two(5 lines) and stanza three(4 lines).

The first stanza gives an opening remark on the love we claim to show: "...kisses and hugs...", "...smiles...", "... footprints etched along the aisle...(wedding ceremonies).

Stanza two breaks love down in it's crudest form. Eg "...love blooms from dying moments...", "... bittersweet tinge of ecstasy..."

The last stanza depicts a clear picture of Yah's Love illustrating Christ as a light "... beaming oe'r fireflies..."(a constant reminder for people who are far away from God), "...gripping a lost limb rolling off the aisle..."(an example of backsliding, Christ keeps us closer to him as we abide in him as well), "...soothing a razed heart scraping it's Ash?"(He comforts the oppressed, giving hope to the hopeless).
