I should awake now, for i have long since been taken to slumber and my field untended has been
devoured by pest;
For i shall arise and make due my field free of them, these pests, that i might in harvest have meself s'me, some;
If this be not then will i be a lost, empty of no possession, my sleep has make hunger not our guest, but it lives here with.
SYNOPSIS
The entering line "I shall awake now" declares an intended course of action and for the reason "for i have long since been taken to slumber" and that "my field untended has been devoured by pest;".
Stating that because of my long slumber "for i have long since been taken to slumber" my field has been untended to and pests have devoured it, concluding the first line
This pests that devoured my field i shall arise and make it that my field be free of them "For i shall arise and make due my field free of them, these pests" so that when harvest comes i will have something for myself "that i might in harvest have myself s'me some" something.
The "s'me some" here referring to something
"If this be not will I be a lost, empty of no possession" the 'a' part of the ending line says from the second line
If i am not able to make free of this pests will i in harvest become empty, having nothing "empty of no possession" and it will be that hunger will nolonger be our guess coming from time to time but it will now be living with us because i have been asleep "my sleep has make hunger not our guest, but it lives here with"
BACKGROUND
I felt myself at some point drifting from an intended course, distracted and having my mind encumbered by many other diverting engagements i no longer focused on my original plans and it became as though i had abandoned them
This piece was written referring to this abandonment as slumber and the outcome of it is that, in the end i would have lost everything
The piece was written calling terms like, slumber (sleep), field, pest, harvest, hunger, possession, which can easily be related to, to express this one same thing that every human at some point have experienced
