ACW-UA POETRY : Abidemi Ridwan Olalekan's He-Goat, among top chart for the week.

He-Goat
As the glowing of sun is un coverable,
I noticed your present with your odour print,
Who will deny you among your mates?
Living a life of stress free.

The beautiful ones lost to thy styles,
Through the shining color given to thee.
You're the best nigga among four legs,
Keeping beards like heavenly clerk.

How I wish I could live like thee,
Taking vibes from one area to another,
Without query of trespassing,
Not to talk of embarrassing.
For my people is to find fault,
But here you are, living free, walking free.

This night you sleep North, other day you sleep South,
Such is your freedom to follow the one you wish.
Here I am with my one face,
How do I express my journey?
Only hope I can do exactly the way you do,
Maybe then I can breathe fresh air.

  1. Nicely composed. Poems are not really for fast readers but fast thinkers. A poet of course is a real thinker who turns a pen into a trumpet or a flute.
