A student of the University of Abuja, who identified himself as Comrade Aluta Ene has took to his pen to write against the Action of the Student Representative Assembly in Suspending the SUG President, describing it as Blatant, and a Kangaroo suspension. This is coming after the SRA passed a public notice of its suspension of the SUG President.
On the early hours of today we received the sudden and utopia letter that flood our newsfeed with the purported suspension of the SUG President of U of A.
I became worried about how this decision came to bare as it puzzle logic and reasoning as to what led to this rash and unscrupulous decision from a long arm of the union who has been on perpetual sleep and irredeemable docile on what the students welfarism entails.
One sordid and shitty act of this confused folks who gathered on their normal platform for hustling to negotiate on the way forward of the union was the rash suspension of the President and the Secretary General on the altar of flimsy pieces that however understandable but not tenable or lack the moral will and legal will to stand the test of our dear constitution.
To start with, I wouldn't want to delved into the insufferable mistakes of the SRA and the intellectual laziness that characterize the arm but I will be very brief in my disposition to clearly reel out what their mental indolence that exhort them to gravitate towards this unchristened actions.
INCAPABLE OF LEADING!
Recall that last month the SUG President not only led a strong and dynamic movement on the campus but was all over the media over the high-handedness and the unyielding actions of the management but even with the heat of pressures and threats from stakeholders and those in the corridors of power, he weathered them away and led the university community to victory. I know the SRA is allergic to docility and backwardness! The President was placed on outright investigation by the management and the SRA that has already losed focus Ab inito were no where to be found. My dear students who's the real enemy?? Your answer is as good as mine!!!
DEFAMATION OF CHARACTER.
I felt bad initially when I heard that a our most cherished arm of the union as been taken over by people who are either plagued with mental indolence or having their intellectual agility mentally quarantined. This clause is so disparaging that one wonders if we have any sound soul left in this kangaroo arm of our union who are desperately whipping sands to destabilize our union.
The management may come in with their already designed techniques to take over the union but 5he students won't allow the SRA do this.
This defamation lacks merit as the arm is only showing her poshiest and glossiest power abysmally. This is generally a figment of their imagination methinks.
ABUSE OF POWER AND GROSS MISCONDUCT.
Trust me this pandemic might have taken his pounce on this guys because I wonder where and how this sentence was coined to suit their regiment. Habeeb Olawale Oladoja has been consistent and making judicious use of his office by helping students all across our campuses. I remembered vividly that I wrote him on some major issues and the stuff have been fixed. Yesterday the portals were around schools and hostels to fixed up things and also get our students lit up in grand style.
The SRA that has not spoken about the whereabout of our Aluta Missile which the SUG President is working meticulously to get it back to base and also managing the resources at his disposal just to make his administration successful got a hard nudge from those he was fighting for because he has refused to let down his guard.
This action coming from the SRA reduce intellectual intensity!
The students will never be in support of any kangaroo suspension!
Finally, the students community therefore give the SRA 24hrs to retract this unconstitutional press release from the public space and tender an unreserved apology to the entire students as this was an action against the general will of the people.
This is a rape on the part of our constitution as the students cannot tolerate any insufferable mistakes from any element in the system causing harm to our union.
WE WILL MOBILIZE ALL GENUINE STUDENTS ACROSS OUR CAMPUSES IF THIS ACTION IS NOT REVERSE IN THE NEXT 24HRS!
THIS CONFUSION IS UNWARRANTED AND UNNECESSARY AT THIS TRANSITION PERIOD. THE PRESIDENT SHOULD BE GIVEN THE TIME TO TRANSIT POWER IN PEACE AS NEXT SEMESTER EXAMINATION IS SCHEDULE TO COMMENCE MAY. THE SUSPENSION IS AN ABORTED CHILD ALREADY.
Rubbish!!!
Enough is enough!!!
Speaking for the students is not a crime!
