ACW-UA CELEBRATES two of its prominent members of their Birthday - Dominic & Chyna

The Association of Creative Writers - University of Abuja (ACW-UA) is immensely glad to celebrate the birthday of two of its eminent members, Ms Chyna Chioma Emmanuel and Mr. Dominic Nwobodo, whose birthday was in 25th and 24th of July, respectively.

Mr. Dominic Nwobodo is a Pioneer of ACW-UA and the longest serving officer of the Association. He has occupied the prestigious position of Head of Poetry City Department since the foundation of the Association and has been active yet. He is regarded as Mr. Poetry for his prolific poetic skill and his excellent leadership role in the development.

Mr. Dominic Nwobodo, a 200level student of English Language, is one of the key founders of the Association, who has stood beside the Founder / President, since the scratch of the Association. He is a writer, poet and singer, who takes joy in capacity building and personal development.

Ms. Chyna Chioma Emmanuel, a 200level student of Economics Education, is an award winning poet in the Association of Creative Writers - University of Abuja. she has authored a large number of poems, many of which has received recognition and recommendation locally and internationally. 

Ms. Chyna is one of the key and most resourceful prolifer in the Department of Poetry City.

Her poetry skill is didactic and thoughtful, one of her most memorable poem is " Ụwa awugom n'ala", an ode and dirge to the Ụwa, the victim of rape.

The Association of Creative Writers - University of Abuja and the Department of Poetry City particularly celebrated the duo.
