2ND SEMESTER RESULT: VC commends lecturers, addresses students

The Vice Chancellor, Professor Abdul-Rasheed Na' Allah has commended the lecturers across faculties who have worked towards the successful processing of students’ results.

The VC also addressed the students on their session results, assuring them that the university will provide necessary facilities for their academic success.

Prof. Na’Allah’s message was published on the University of Abuja Facebook page on Friday.

It reads in part: “From the bottom of my heart, I want to sincerely thank all the lecturers that have worked around the clock to  grade their students  and upload their results, and the Faculty Boards that met to approve those results, and the Deans that promptly recommended the approved grades on behalf of their  faculties.

“I can assure you that whatever is the grade made by a student, such students and their parents are happy today as they can print out their grades as records of their performance in the last semester  — and being the second semester, even now know their performance in the academic year. All these faculties are hero faculties, and the GST is also being celebrated today with the Innovation Hub and Creative Technologies (IHCT), University of Abuja and the Information Technology Management Services (ITMS) for their exceptional success in the CBT Examinations.

“I want to assure all our hero faculties and the units concerned that your University management will reciprocate in a big way to register its gratitude and happiness at this feat that has been achieved.

“As the Returning Students prepare for the 2023-2024 Academic year first semester lectures, they can review their performances in the previous year and determine at what level they need to work this new session towards the attainment of the class of degree they wish to graduate with.”

Prof. Na’Allah also welcome both new and returning students to the commencing academic session, while urging them to ‘work and also have fun’.

“I welcome all new and returning students to the 2023-2024 Academic Session. The University will do everything possible to ensure your success. Please work and also have fun. Continue to show to the world the great exemplary character of the UofA students. When you see your lecturers in class or anywhere, please express gratitude to them for their hard work;  and in particular your continued dedication to your studies would be an awesome reward they would be happy about.”
