The Senior Partner of Law Corridor, and Convener of the Coalition of Public Interest Lawyers, Pelumi Olajengbesi Esq who was also a former SUG President of the University, the Chief Executive Officer of Connected Development, Hamzat B Lawal and the Chief Executive of Officer and founder of The BFG Global Consulting Ltd, Festus Bello shall give the keynote addresses.

Prince Ezeabata Chibuzor shall be hosting the event as the Executive Director of PurposeForte. A organisation that maximizes technology for opportunity, encourage creativity and innovation.

Having founded Association of Creative Writers in 2019, in his first year in the University, he started PurposeForte in 2021.

You will recall that early this month, Prince was selected by the Pan African Organisation for peace and conflict resolution as a student to represent Nigeria in Kigali, Rwanda for the Grand Prize for Peace in Africa Project. He shall be leading a team of three students from the University to Rwanda where he shall also be competing with more than seven other African Nations for the Big Prize of Peace in Africa Awards.

According to Prince Ezeabata Chibuzor, this event is motivated by the seemingly unyielding odds faced by a lot of young school leavers, and undergraduates, as to what next after their university and undergraduate studies, particularly as the nation is currently in an uncertain state.

In addition, Prince shall recognise some of the best students in the University, through PurposeForte. He introduced the Distinguished Undergraduate Student Award. The University of Abuja Edition is the maiden edition. Recipient of the #DUSA2023 shall be recognised nationally, and globally as students of the University, who has distinguished themselves amongst others.
The Award is also a rare recognition awarded strictly by merit, and not by votes buying and engagement counts.

Prince Ezeabata Chibuzor who is in his penultimate year (400 level) in the University, currently studying law, has become one of the most outstanding students in the University of Abuja.
Through just 22, he has proven that age and background is not a determining factor to one becoming a beckon for excellence.
