Founded by Prince Ezeabata Chibuzor in 2019 in University of Abuja is an initiative that brings writers, upcoming writers, poets and young Nigerians who are keen and eager to grow their creative skills and develop their interests in Creative writing. It aims at building a generation of young people who shall be relevant, and innovative for the future. ACW is a world were excellence and success is celebrated.

ACW TO HOST NATIONAL STAKEHOLDERS PANEL DISCUSSION.


The Association of Creative Writers on its bid to involve young people as agent of societal change, and personal development, using their pen as writers, shall host a national stakeholder panel discourse. 

The discourse shall centre on the youth, the coming general election, the role of the youth, the role of social media influencing, the role of community contribution and collaboration, the modules in place by the electoral body for a free and fair election and the future of Nigerian politics, considering the active engagement and participation of young persons in Nigeria.

The discourse shall look at the level and significance of the youths current engagement, and its impact in the coming elections. It shall also feature key and strategic issues, tabled on board, to be discussed and analysed by key members of the public space - from the government sector to civil society organisations, labour grants, student groups and the general public. 

Among the panelists are; Rinu Oduala, the Program Director Connected_HubNg; Michael M. Arinze, National President of the Law Students Association of Nigeria ; Mr Busayo Oluwadamilare, director, Connected Development ; Ezekiel Ugwueze, SA to the Governor of Enugu State ; Inibehe Effiong, Human Rights Lawyer ; Taiwo Okanlawon Alabi, a Nigerian Journalist ;
Efemena Ozugha, Program Director YIAGA AFRICA ;
Abah Owoicho, North Central National Association of Nigeria Students Coordinator;
Barr. Juliet Isi Ikhayere, ADC 2023 Candidate, House of Representatives, AMAC /Bwari Federal Constituency;
Mr. Femi Balogun, the Executive Director, Ideal Africa Foundation; and
Desmond T. Orisewezie, Convener, #TheRedCapMovement and Most Influential Young Deltian. 

Speaking with the host, Prince Ezeabata Chibuzor who is the founder of Association of Creative Writers, "We are at a crossroad. In every democratic state, general election is usually a major turning point, it is therefore imperative that we get involve in our own little democratic way. This Stakeholder's meeting is our own unique way of getting the youths and the relevant communities together on a roundtable to discuss issues that concerns the nation's polity, governance, and electioneering processes geared towards 2023, particularly on the role we all have to play for a successful, safe, and peaceful power transition come next year."

The event shall be held virtually, on friday, 15th of July, 2022 by 11.00am, and Co - host by Ater Solomon-Mary Vendaga, the Pioneer General Secretary of ACW.
