ACW-UA PRESS release: NUESA 2019 GENERAL ELECTION REPORTS : Violence outbreak in polling units. " there is no transparency... to me this is not an election" - Comd. Isah

The NIGERIAN UNIVERSITY EDUCATION STUDENTS ASSOCIATION (NUESA) University of Abuja chapter had her election on the 29th of October 2019.
ACWUA correspondents Fortune and Mishael covered the whole event...
The electoral process which was meant to start 9Am started at about 12Pm.
The every election, the NUESITES turned out massively to exercise their franchise.
Here are the reports gathered from some of the voters gathered at the Polling units...
One Mr Yusuf from the department of Biology Education stated that the election wasn't free and fair... In his words he said "I discovered that they are bringing in outsiders to vote and are preventing other students from voting and the security allowed them access, the election is not free and fair"
Proceeding to another polling unit, ACWUA took comments from some political Aspirants and voters.
Mr Titus an Aspirant expressed his displeasure for how the election played out, he told our correspondent that His ballot paper was not at the venue on time and also that as it about 2Pm his Agent drew his attention to the fact that his ballot papers got finished.
"The election is not free and fair, the election that was supposed to start 9Am started at about 12pm"
One Mr Victor alias Viq3city, course Rep CRS Education claimed that the election wasn't free and fair enough, in his words he said "the election was not properly organised, students were not informed of the modalities and this has resulted to some hiccups, the election is not free and fair from every indication, some Aspirants who had opponents had their names omitted from the papers"
Mr Abdulaziz Mohammed alias Gago, an Aspirant told our correspondent that the election was rigid, not free and fair "the election is not free and fair, I know and I won from the numbers"

A presidential Aspirant Mr Elisha who goes by the name Spiritual stated that there was a massive turn out from the students and the election went as planned, for Mr Elisha, the election was free and fair.
For Mr Onasi Ifeanyi Pogba, he commended the effort of the ELCOM chairman, "the ELCOM chairman tried his best and I can't really say if the election is free and fair or not, my problem is that most people did not get the chance to vote". Mr Pogba however was not happy due to the fact that most students did not get the opportunity to exercise their rights to vote due to reasons of Time.
A presidential candidate by the name Comrade Isah stated his displeasure of the election, he said "there's no transparency, some people were disfranchised due to unavailability of ballot, and that is because some students were caught with ballot and nothing was done about it, to me this is not an election"
There were issues of violence outbreak in one of the polling units and the securities arrested the situation and took the defaulters to their office...
All efforts to get comments from the Electoral committee chairman and security unit proved abortive.
