University of Abuja Orchestrates Unforgettable Mountain Hike, Uniting Over 2500 Students in a Day of Adventure and Community-Building

In a spectacular display of camaraderie, resilience, and a celebration of the great outdoors, the Adventurous Climbers of the University of Abuja alongside other Universities in Abuja successfully hosted an extraordinary mountain hike on the 30th of September, 2023. This event, a hallmark in the university's calendar, witnessed the enthusiastic participation of more than 2,500 students, turning the serene mountainous terrain into a vibrant tapestry of shared experiences and collective triumph.

The purpose behind this monumental undertaking was not just to ascend the slopes but to foster a sense of community and well-being among the diverse student body. Organized by the Big Break Moment Africa in Collaboration with the SUG Director of Socials, the mountain hike symbolized a departure from routine academia, offering students an opportunity to engage in a day filled with physical challenges, breathtaking scenery, and the forging of lasting connections.

The event showcased the university's commitment to holistic student development, emphasizing the importance of a balanced and active lifestyle. Students from various disciplines and celebrities joined forces, embodying the spirit of unity that defines the University of Abuja.

ACW-UA expresses its heartfelt gratitude to the multitude of participants, generous sponsors, and dedicated volunteers who contributed to the resounding success of this monumental event. The collective spirit displayed on the mountain serves as a testament to the power of community and the enriching experiences that go beyond the confines of lecture halls and textbooks.
