MY SALUTATION TO THE GRADUATING STUDENTS
The journey of a thousand miles, of course begins with a single step. A step to greatness. A step to opportunities. A step to success. A step to living a purposeful life, and what more can I say?
That step to study in the University has reached its final destination, and I am proud of you. I am happy you made it thus far, and I celebrate with you.
I am conscious that some are not so happy, probably because of expectations cut-short, or disappointment; in form of an extra year, however, do not despair, do not lose heart, for in the journey of life, there is no fast and perfect rule to success. Brace up and cheer for tomorrow matters more, regardless of the past and present.
As you graduate this day, be mindful that out there is a world full of opportunities, temporal defeats, challenges and information. Be willing to unlearn, learn and relearn and bear in mind that the world needs you, your potentials and gifts.
Do not underestimate the power in you and be ready to seize meaningful opportunities. Keep relationships, valuable relationships and network within and beyond your sphere.
Follow your dreams, chase your passions and build them till it becomes reality, for the world is large enough to accommodate all. Find a problem, solve it and watch the world appreciates you with greatness.
As you graduate this day, and go into the world, I have nothing, but sincere gratitude to God on your behalf. I pray you encounter favour with God, and with Men.
I pray for excellence and good success as your strive to relevance and greatness.
God bless you. God bless the family, the guardian and the parent who sponsored you thus far and may goodness and mercy follow you henceforth.
Amen ❤️
