NATIONAL ECONOMIC STUDENTS ASSOCIATION ( NESA) 2019 GENERAL ELECTION which was held yesterday the 31st of October, 2019 at Block A. Upstairs recorded success according to correspondence who interviewed votes, "The election was good and the Electoral Committee had been doing their work..."Olayinka a 300Level student said. The Election which was scheduled to hold by 8.00am was shifted to 12.15am due to security reasons.
At early as 8.00am students were seen at the polling unit willing to cast their votes. Speaking with our Correspondences, Abdul, a 100 Level Course rep, said " the election was peaceful and fair" when asked about the conduct of the Electionaring officials, he states that Nigerian Elections are not conducive, this is pertially conducive. However,it was observed that some voters were denied the right to vote. Rachael a 200level student, stated that, " I can not vote due to the fact that my Candidate is not am ally to the Electoral Committee Officials".
Getting to speak with the Electoral Committee Chairman was proved abortive. However, on of the Presidential Aspirant, Lord Caleb who spoked to ACW-UA PRESS Men said " Everything about the election was put in place but students were not put in place...", he also added that if he is elected as the president, he will introduce Social and Welfare into the department.
At the end Baba Akintunde was declared the President elect.

This is amazing.....But the fact gotten so far proved that pub admin election was the most peaceful so far from the interview coverage covered by DANIEL CHUKWUEMEKA SAMUEL at University of Abuja permanent site.
